Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
