Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
