Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 from which you turn away. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 for an appointed time". 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
