Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
