Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
