Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
