Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
