Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
