Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
