Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
