Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 from which you are turning away. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
