Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
