Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint. 10 Say: "I am commanded to worship God with obedience all-exclusive for Him; 11 "And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam." 12 Say: I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day. 13 Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion, 14 So worship whatsoever ye will, besides him. Say thou: verily the losers are those who shall have lost themselves and their household on the Day of Judgment. Lo! that will be a loss manifest. 15 They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me. 16 And those who put away false gods lest they should worship them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them there are glad tidings. Therefor give good tidings (O Muhammad) to My bondmen 17 who listen to the Words and follow what is finest of it. These are they whom Allah has guided. They are those of understanding. 18 (O Prophet), can you save him (from chastisement) against whom the sentence of chastisement has become due; him who has, (as it were), already fallen into the Fire?” 19 But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise. 20 See you not, that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding. 21
