Is he whose breast Allah has opened to Islam, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah! They are in plain error! 22 God has sent down the very best discourse, the Book conformable in its juxtapositions, which makes all of those who fear their Lord, shudder. So their hearts and bodies become receptive to the remembrance of God. This is the guidance of God with which He guides whosoever He will; but whosoever God allows to go astray has none to show him the way. 23 Is he whose face is cautious of the evil of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection (to be compared to the unbeliever)! To the evildoers it shall be said: 'Now taste that which you have been earning' 24 Those that were before them cried lies, then the chastisement came upon them from whence they were not aware; 25 God made them suffer humiliation in this life. Would that they knew that the torment for them in the next life will be even greater. 26 We have set forth to men all kinds of parables in this Quran so that they may take heed: 27 a Quran in Arabic, free from any ambiguity -- so that people may be mindful. 28 [To this end,] God sets forth a parable: A man who has for his masters several partners, [all of them] at variance with one another, and a man depending wholly on one person: can these two be deemed equal as regards their condition? [Nay,] all praise is due to God [alone]: but most of them do not understand this. 29 (Muhammad), you will die and all of them will also die. 30 and, then on the Day of Resurrection you shall place your dispute before your Sustainer. 31
