۞ Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 53 Turn to your Lord and submit to Him before His scourge overtakes you, for then you shall not be helped. 54 And follow the best that has been revealed to you from your Lord before there comes to you the punishment all of a sudden while you do not even perceive; 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 or lest it should say, 'If only God had guided me, I should have been or lest among the godfearing,' 57 Or, lest when it sees the punishment should say: 'O that I might return, and be among those that did good' 58 'Indeed, My verses did come to you, but you belied them. You were proud and became one of the unbelievers' 59 On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty? 60 God would rescue those who fear Him (and guide them) to places of safety. Neither will evil touch them nor regret. 61 God is the creator of all things, and He is the guarantor of all things. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: and those who reject the Signs of Allah,- it is they who will be in loss. 63
