1/4 Hizb 47
< random >
۞ Say: "O creatures of God, those of you who have acted against your own interests should not be disheartened of the mercy of God. Surely God forgives all sins. He is all-forgiving and all-merciful. 53 Turn unto your Lord and surrender to Him, ere the chastisement comes upon you, then you will not be helped. 54 "And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you from your Lord, before the Penalty comes on you - of a sudden while ye perceive not!- 55 Lest any soul should say: Alas, my grief that I was unmindful of Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers! 56 Or, "If only God had guided me, I would surely have joined the God-fearing." 57 Or say on seeing the punishment: "If I could only return I would be among the good." 58 "(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'" 59 On the Day of Judgment you will see the faces of those who had invented falsehood against God blackened. Is not hell the dwelling of the arrogant ones? 60 And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and of all things He is the Guardian. 62 In His hands are the keys of the treasuries of the heavens and the earth. Those who reject God's revelations will be lost. 63

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
