۞ Say: 'O my people who have been prodigal against yourselves, do not despair of God's mercy; surely God forgives sins altogether; surely He is the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate. 53 Turn unto your Lord and surrender to Him, ere the chastisement comes upon you, then you will not be helped. 54 And follow the better (guidance) of that which is revealed unto you from your Lord, before the doom cometh on you suddenly when ye know not, 55 Lest any soul should say: 'Sadly, I have neglected my duty to Allah and was of those that mocked' 56 Or say: "If only God had guided me I would have been a man of fear and piety;" 57 or lest he should say, when he sees the chastisement: “O that I might return again, and be among those who do good.” 58 Why, My revelations had come to you, but you denied them and were filled with pride, and were among the disbelievers. 59 On the Day of Resurrection you shall see that the faces of those who had lied against Allah have turned dark. Is Hell not vast enough to provide a room to the vainglorious? 60 God would rescue those who fear Him (and guide them) to places of safety. Neither will evil touch them nor regret. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and of all things He is the Guardian. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, such are they who will be the losers. 63
