۞ SAY: "[Thus speaks God:] 'O you servants of Mine who have transgressed against your own selves! Despair not of God's mercy: behold, God forgives all sins - for, verily, He alone is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!'" 53 And return to your Lord time after time and submit to Him before there comes to you the punishment, then you shall not be helped. 54 And ere that suffering comes upon you of a sudden, without your being aware [of its approach,] follow the most goodly [teaching] that has been revealed unto you by your Sustainer, 55 Lest any soul should say: 'Sadly, I have neglected my duty to Allah and was of those that mocked' 56 Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful! 57 or lest he should say, when he sees the chastisement: “O that I might return again, and be among those who do good.” 58 "(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'" 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? 60 But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of every thing and He has charge over every thing. 62 unto Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the signs of God, those they are the losers. 63
