Surely We shall help Our Messengers and those who have believed, in the present life, and upon the day when the witnesses arise, 51 The Day when their excuses will be of no avail to the wrongdoers, the curse shall be their lot and they will have the most evil abode. 52 And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture 53 A guidance and reminder for men of wisdom. 54 Wherefore persevere thou. Verily the Promise of Allah is true and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and hallow the praise of thy Lord in the evening and in the morning. 55 Verily those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without an authority having come unto them there is aught in their breasts save greatness which they shall not reach. Seek refuge thou then in Allah verily He! He is the Hearer, the Beholder. 56 The creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know. 57 The blind and the seeing are not equal, nor are those who believe and do good works and the wrongdoer, yet you seldom reflect. 58 The Hour will indeed come; there is no doubt about that. Yet most people do not believe. 59 Your Lord said: “Pray to Me, and I will accept your prayers. Surely those who wax too proud to worship Me shall enter Hell, utterly abased.” 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
