ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 HENCE, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true. And whether We show thee [in this world] something of what We hold in store for those [deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [ere that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they will be brought back. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
