Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
