Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 into the boiling water and then are thrown into the Fire, 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter the gates of hell to abide therein, evil then is the abode of the proud. 76 So be patient, (O Prophet). Surely Allah's promise is true. Whether We show them a part of the woeful consequences against which We warn them (while you are still in their midst) or We recall you (from this world) before that, eventually it is to Us that they shall be brought back. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
