Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our messengers: but soon shall they know,- 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 into boiling water and then they will be burned in the fire. 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
