Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along. 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 “As rivals to Allah?”; they will say, “We have lost them – in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray. 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
