Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 when fetters and chains shall be on their necks, and they shall be dragged into 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna, to dwell therein forever.' How evil is the lodging of those that are proud! 76 So be patient (O Muhammad SAW), verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and whether We show you (O Muhammad SAW in this world) some part of what We have promised them, or We cause you to die, then it is to Us they all shall be returned. 77 We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods. 78
