Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim 1 This is a revelation from the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, 2 A Book, the verses of which are distinguished, an Arabic Koran for a nation who know. 3 As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear. 4 And say: "Our hearts are immured against what you call us to. There is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. So act (your way), we are acting (ours)." 5 Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah, therefore follow the right way to Him and ask His forgiveness; and woe to the polytheists; 6 (To) those who do not give poor-rate and they are unbelievers in the hereafter. 7 Truly, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW) and do righteous good deeds, for them will be an endless reward that will never stop (i.e. Paradise). 8
