And on the day that the enemies of Allah shall be brought together to the fire, then they shall be formed into groups. 19 till when they are come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins bear witness against them concerning what they have been doing, 20 They will ask their skins: “Why did you bear witness against us?” The skins will reply: “Allah gave us speech, as He gave speech to all others. He it is Who created you for the first time and it is to Him that you will be sent back. 21 And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do. 22 This thought of yours about your Lord has led to your perdition and you have become among the losers.” 23 In this state, whether they bear with patience (or not), Fire alone shall be their abode. And if they seek to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so. 24 ۞ We assigned for them companions who would make their past and present (deeds) seem attractive to them. Thus, they became subject to what the jinn and human beings before were destined to suffer. They were certainly lost. 25
