3/4 Hizb 48
< random >
Upon the day when God's enemies are mustered to the Fire, duly disposed, 19 until (on the brink of it) their eyes, ears and skin will testify to their deeds on the Day when the enemies of God are driven to the fire. 20 And they will say to their bodies: "Why did you testify against us?" They will answer: "God, who gave all things power of articulation, made us speak. It is He who created you the first time, and to Him you will return. 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers." 23 Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them. 24 ۞ We assigned to them companions who made their doings appear fair to them. But the same decree [of punishment] proved true against them, which had proved true against nations of jinn and mankind who passed away before them. Surely they were the losers. 25
