53 verses, revealed in Mecca after Elucidated (Fussilat) before Vanity (Al-Zukhruf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 Ain Sin Qaf 2 (Muhammad), this is how God, the Majestic and All-wise, sends revelations to you and sent them to those who lived before you. 3 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great. 4 Well-nigh the heavens might be rent in sunder from above them. And the angels hallow the praise of their lord and ask forgiveness for these on the earth. Lo! Verily Allah! He is the Forgiver, the Merciful! 5 And those who take Patrons beside Him, Allah is Warden over them, and thou art not over them a trustee. 6 And thus did We reveal this Arabic Qur'an to you that you may warn the people of the Mother of Cities (to wit, Makkah) and those who dwell around it; and warn them of the Day of Gathering concerning which there is no doubt: whereon some will be in Paradise, and some in the Blazing Fire. 7 Had God so willed, He could have made all of them one community, but He admits into His mercy whom He wills; and the wrongdoers have neither protector, nor helper. 8 What! Have they taken (for worship) protectors besides Him? But it is Allah,- He is the Protector, and it is He Who gives life to the dead: It is He Who has power over all things, 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
