Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because on the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness. 30 And ye cannot frustrate His punishment in the earth; and there is for you beside Allah neither protector nor helper. 31 And among His signs are the ships in the sea like mountains. 32 If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful. 33 Or He may destroy them because of that which they have earned, and He may pardon many of them. 34 those who dispute Our signs shall learn that they have no escape. 35 So whatever thing you are given, that is only a provision of this world's life, and what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who believe and rely on their Lord. 36 and who shun the more heinous sins and abominations; and who, whenever they are moved to anger, readily forgive; 37 who obey their Lord and establish Prayer; who conduct their affairs by consultation, and spend out of what We have bestowed upon them; 38 and who, whenever tyranny afflicts them, defend themselves. 39 The recompense for an evil is an evil like thereof, but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah. Verily, He likes not the Zalimun (oppressors, polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.). 40 And whoever defends himself after his being oppressed, these it is against whom there is no way (to blame). 41 The way (to blame) is only against those who oppress men and revolt in the earth unjustly; these shall have a painful punishment. 42 Surely, he who bears patiently and forgives indeed that is true constancy. 43
