Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
And whoever is averse to the Remembrance of the Most Gracious, We appoint a devil upon him, who stays with him. 36 And verily they hinder them from the way, whilst they deem that they are rightly guided. 37 Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his companion], "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west - how wretched a companion." 38 And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment. 39 Can you (O Muhammad SAW) make the deaf to hear, or can you guide the blind or him who is in manifest error? 40 We shall revenge them either after your death 41 Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for verily We shall prevail over them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Surely you are on the Straight Way. 43 And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned. 44 And ask those of Our apostles whom We sent before you: Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped besides the Beneficent Allah? 45
