Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

We shall attach to him who goes blind to the remembrance of Ar-Rahman a devil as companion, -- 36 And verily they hinder them from the way, whilst they deem that they are rightly guided. 37 Until when he cometh unto Us, he will say. Ah! would that there had been between me and thee, the distance of the east and the west an evil companion 38 When ye have done wrong, it will avail you nothing, that Day, that ye shall be partners in Punishment! 39 What! can you then make the deaf to hear or guide the blind and him who is in clear error? 40 Even if We take you away from the world, We shall surely take vengeance on them 41 Or show you what We have promised them – We therefore have complete control over them. 42 So hold thou fast to the Revelation sent down to thee; verily thou art on a Straight Way. 43 And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). 44 Ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before you, "Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped besides the Beneficent One?" 45
