O My bondmen! no fear shall be on you Today, nor shall ye grieve 68 to those who believed in Our verses and were Muslims, 69 Enter Paradise joyfully, both you and your spouses.” 70 Therein are brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and therein is all that souls desire and eyes find sweet. And ye are immortal therein. 71 This is the Paradise that you have been given for an inheritance for the things that you were doing. 72 Ye shall have therein abundance of fruit, from which ye shall have satisfaction. 73 Lo! the guilty are immortal in hell's torment. 74 (The torment) will not be lightened for them, and they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair therein. 75 And it is not We who will be doing wrong unto them, but it is they who will have wronged themselves. 76 They will cry, "Master, if only your Lord would put an end to us!" But he [the angel] will answer, "No! You are here to stay." 77 INDEED, [O you sinners,] We have conveyed the truth unto you; but most of you abhor the truth. 78 Have they contrived some scheme? If so, We too will contrive a scheme. 79 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsel? (Yes We do) and Our Messengers (appointed angels in charge of mankind) are by them, to record. 80 Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers." 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! 82 So leave them plunging into false discourses and sporting until they meet their day which they are threatened with. 83 It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. 84 blessed be He who has sovereignty over the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. He alone has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. 85 Those whom they call upon, instead of Allah have no power of intercession, except such that testify to the truth based on knowledge. 86 And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? 87 And for his saying: 'My Lord, these are an unbelieving nation' 88 We have told him, "Ignore them and say to them 'farewell'. They will soon know the consequences of their deeds 89
True are the words of God the Almighty.
