My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- 68 [O you] who have attained to faith in Our messages and have surrendered your own selves unto Us! 69 (it will be said) 'You and your spouses, enter, walking with joy into Paradise' 70 Passed round amongst them will be dishes of gold and goblets, and therein will be whatsoever souls desire and eyes delight in; and ye will be therein abiders. 71 for such will be the paradise which you shall have inherited by virtue of your past deeds: 72 For you therein will be fruits in plenty whereof ye will eat. 73 Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell. 74 Never will their torment be lightened for them. They shall remain in utter despair. 75 We wronged them not, but they were the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.). 76 The angelic guard will say, "You will have to stay. 77 Verily We have brought the Truth to you: but most of you have a hatred for Truth. 78 Why - can they [who deny the truth ever] determine what [the truth] should be? 79 Or do they think that We do not hear their secret talks and their whispering counsels? Yes, indeed We do and Our messengers (i.e., angels) are with them, writing. 80 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'If the Merciful had a son, I would be the first of the worshipers. 81 Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne! Exalted be He from all that they ascribe (to Him). 82 So leave them (alone) to speak nonsense and play until they meet the Day of theirs, which they have been promised. 83 It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. 84 And blessed is He Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and with Him is the knowledge of the hour, and to Him shall you be brought back. 85 And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah). 86 (Muhammad), if you ask them, "Who had created the idols?" They will certainly say, "God has created them." Why do you then turn away from God? 87 Consider his cry: O my Lord! surely they are a people who do not believe. 88 pardon them, and say: 'Peace', soon they will know. 89
