And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment, 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And We vouchsafed unto them signs wherein was a manifest favour. 33 These people say, 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
