And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment, 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial. 33 [Now,] behold, these [people] say indeed: 34 "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba' and those before them whom We destroyed? They were surely sinners. 37 It was not in play that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We did not create them save with a purpose, yet most people have no knowledge of this. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 save those to whom God shows mercy. Surely, He is the Mighty, the Merciful One. 42
