Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
