The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59
