Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The sending down of the Book is from God, the All-mighty, the All-wise. 2 In the heavens and the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for the believers. 3 And in the creation of yourselves and of the beasts that He hath scattered over the earth, are signs unto a people who are convinced. 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky wherewith He gives life to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: (in all these) there are Signs for people who use reason. 5 Such are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you in truth. So in what speech, after Allah and His signs, will they believe? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 Who hears the communications of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a painful punishment. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 Before them is Hell; naught will avail them of that which they earned, nor those whom they took for patrons beside Allah. Theirs shall be a torment mighty. 10 This is guidance; for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord the anger of the painful punishment awaits them. 11
