Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HaMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 2 Surely in the heavens and earth there are signs for the believers; 3 And in your creation, and all the beasts that He scattereth in the earth, are portents for a folk whose faith is sure. 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? 6 Woe to every sinful liar! 7 He hears the Signs of Allah rehearsed to him, yet is obstinate and lofty, as if he had not heard them: then announce to him a Penalty Grievous! 8 And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. 9 Hell is ahead of them; and all that they may have gained [in this world] shall be of no avail whatever to them, and neither shall any of those things which, instead of God, they have come to regard as their protectors: for, awesome suffering awaits them. 10 This (Quran) is a guidance. Those who reject the revelations of their Lord will suffer the most painful punishment. 11
