Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HaMeem. 1 The sending down of the Book is from Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 2 Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers. 3 And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith. 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky wherewith He gives life to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: (in all these) there are Signs for people who use reason. 5 These are the revelations of Allah which We rehearse unto thee with truth: in what discourse then, after Allah and His revelations, will they believe? 6 Woe unto each sinful liar, 7 who hears Allah's Signs being rehearsed to him, and yet persists in his pride, as though he had not heard it. Announce to him, then, the tidings of a grievous chastisement. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 Before them is Hell; naught will avail them of that which they earned, nor those whom they took for patrons beside Allah. Theirs shall be a torment mighty. 10 This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. 11
