Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. 3 And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty. 4 And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allah sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west etc., sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand. 5 These are revelations of God which we recite to you correctly: In what other lore but God and His manifestations would they then believe? 6 Woe unto each sinful liar, 7 He hears the revelations of God which are recited to him, then persists in his arrogance as if he had not even heard them. Tell him that he will suffer a painful torment. 8 And when he comes to know about any of the verses, he mocks at it; for them is a disgraceful punishment. 9 Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. 10 This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. 11
