Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
God has made devoid of all virtue the deeds of those who have disbelieved and prevented others from the way of God. 1 But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (SAW), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down its burdens. That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain. 4 God will lead them to everlasting happiness and improve their condition. 5 and will admit them to Paradise with which He has acquainted them. 6 O ye who believe! if ye shall succour Allah, He shall succour you and make firm your feet. 7 but as for those who are bent on denying the truth, ill fortune awaits them, since He will let all their [good] deeds go to waste: 8 That is because they detest that which Allah hath sent down, and so He shall make of non-effect their works. 9 ۞ Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. 10 That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector. 11
