Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE and obstruct (others) from the way of God will have wasted their deeds. 1 And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition. 2 This is because the disbelievers followed falsehood and the believers followed the Truth which is from their Lord; this is how Allah illustrates the examples of people to them. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will guide them and improve their condition; 5 He will admit them into the Paradise which He has made known to them. 6 Believers! If you succour God, He will succour you and make your footsteps firm. 7 And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective. 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 That is because God is the protector of the believers, and those who deny the truth have no protector at all. 11
