Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Allah has destroyed the deeds of those who disbelieved and prevented from Allah’s way. 1 As for those who believe and do good deeds and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the truth from their Lord, God will remove their sins from them and set their condition right. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and have given them their dowries, taking (them) in marriage, not fornicating nor taking them for paramours in secret; and whoever denies faith, his work indeed is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. 3 If you encounter the disbelievers in a battle, strike-off their heads. Take them as captives when they are defeated. Then you may set them free as a favor to them, with or without a ransom, when the battle is over. This is the Law. Had God wanted, He could have granted them (unbelievers) victory, but He wants to test you through each other. The deeds of those who are killed for the cause of God will never be without virtuous results. 4 He will guide them, and dispose their minds aright, 5 and will admit them to Paradise with which He has acquainted them. 6 O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm. 7 And those who disbelieve, downfall shall be theirs, and He shall send astray their works. 8 That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds. 9 ۞ What, have they not journeyed in the land and beheld how was the end of those before them? God destroyed them; the unbelievers shall have the likes thereof. 10 That is because Allah is patron of those who believe, and because the disbelievers have no patron. 11
