Or, do those who have a disease in their hearts think that Allah will not reveal their hatred? 29 Had We wanted, We could have made you recognize their faces. You will certainly recognize them by the tone of their speech. God knows all your deeds. 30 We shall certainly test you until We know those of you who truly strive and remain steadfast, and will ascertain about you. 31 Indeed those who disbelieved and prevented others from Allah’s way, and opposed the Noble Messenger after the guidance had become clear to them – they cannot harm Allah in the least; and soon He will squander away their deeds. 32 O believers, obey God, and obey the Messenger, and do not make your own works vain. 33 ۞ Verily, those who disbelieve, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Islam); then die while they are disbelievers, Allah will not forgive them. 34 Wherefore faint not, nor cry out for peace; and ye shall be triumphant. And Allah is with you, and He will not defraud you of your works. 35 The life of the world is but a sport and a pastime. And if ye believe and fear, He will give you your hire, and will not require of you your substance. 36 If He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling. 37 Beware! You are called to spend in the way of God, yet some among you close their fists. But he who is niggardly is so for his own self: God is above need, and it is you who are needy. If you turn away then God will bring other people in your place who, moreover, will not be like you. 38
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
