Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 What! When we are dead and reduced to mere dust, (shall we be raised to life)? Such a return is far-fetched.” 3 We know what the earth consumes of them, for We have the Book that preserves everything. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
