Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
