Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
