Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
